Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: Up to £32,000 base + OTE
Location: Milton Keynes

Due to an internal promotion, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our existing Sales Team based in Milton Keynes on a hybrid working model.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious sales professional who enjoys engaging with clients, identifying solutions and driving revenue growth.

About the role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for selling BSI products and services to new and existing clients across a defined product suite of ISO standards and certifications. You will identify and manage sales opportunities while partnering with clients to build an in-depth understanding of their business needs and drivers. Through consultative sales techniques, you'll position our products and services to enable organisations to improve their business performance.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

Proactively generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and targeted sales activity.
Grow revenue by identifying opportunities to introduce additional BSI products and services to existing clients.
Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across a variety of industries.
Understand client challenges, objectives, and business drivers to recommend the most suitable BSI solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to successful close.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate resources, resolve client queries, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Required skills & experience:

Previous experience in sales and business development.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish credibility across all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven ability to successfully encourage clients to expand their product range.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Previous experience of CRM systems including Salesforce would be desirable.

Salary:
