Full job description

We are offering a permanent full time Yard Operative position at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week.

- Pay: £13.69 - £14.85 per hour.

Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day.

Shift pattern available:

Late shift: From 14:00 to 22:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21).

As one of our Yard Operatives you will:

Washing of the trailers and cleaning the HGV's.
Sweep and clean yard to ensure it is free from litter, debris and standing water.
Gritting the yard during the winter months.
Complete any other cleaning within the yard / warehouse as requested.
Conduct general yard maintenance.
Use a counterbalance to move and stack empty pallets.
Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

You will need:

To be physically fit as this is a demanding role.
A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
