Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their expertise in a vibrant restaurant environment. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer specifications
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding work areas
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to support the kitchen team
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of equipment and utensils

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a grill chef within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially grilling methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Previous experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
Assist with cleaning duties at the end of each shift, including sanitising surfaces and equipment

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
