Job Summary
The Account Administrator plays a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes within the organisation. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in accounting software to support the financial health of the company.

Duties

Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
Maintain financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Generate financial reports for management review, highlighting key metrics and insights.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding financial matters.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
Continuously seek improvements in accounting processes to enhance efficiency.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
