Company Overview

Ultravalve Ltd is a specialist supplier of valves and fluid power components, providing high-quality solutions to customers across a range of industrial sectors. As part of a small and collaborative team, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service, technical support, and reliable product supply.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Support & Credit Control Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role where you will take full responsibility for credit control, while also supporting the sales team with quotation follow-up, order processing, and general administration.

The role requires someone who is confident speaking with customers, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility for credit control across customer accounts
Monitor outstanding invoices and proactively chase overdue payments
Build strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payment
Resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments
Maintain accurate records of payment status and customer accounts
Liaise internally with the sales team regarding account status when required
Follow up and chase quotations with customers to support the sales process
Prepare and input customer quotations
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Provide customers with updates on orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Provide a professional and friendly service at all times
Maintain accurate records within internal systems
Ensure customer information and account details are kept up to date
Support the team with general administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in credit control or accounts administration
Strong communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Confidence speaking with customers on the phone
Good IT skills and general computer literacy
Experience with Sage is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
A proactive approach and ability to work as part of a small team

Further details:

Full-time, office-based role - 37 hours a week
Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (one hour lunch)
20 days holiday (rising to 25 with length of service) plus bank holidays
