Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Staff to join our team for a variety of events. The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of events, providing excellent guest services, and creating memorable experiences for attendees. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop management and hospitality skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and assist with their needs in a courteous and friendly manner
Manage guest flow and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the event
Support event setup and breakdown, including organising equipment and materials
Provide information about the event programme and venue facilities
Assist with managing queues, seating arrangements, and crowd control as required
Handle any guest enquiries or concerns professionally and promptly
Collaborate with team members to ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish

Experience

Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse groups of people
Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts depending on event schedules

This role offers valuable experience in event management and customer service within a vibrant setting. We welcome applicants who are eager to contribute to successful events while developing their professional skills.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

SIA (preferred)
Driving Licence (preferred)
