Job Overview

HGV ADR Driver Class 2 work delivering to both domestic & commercial properties.

Location of work The Cedars Coton Rd, Nether Whitacre, Coleshill B46 2HH loading out of WOSL, Essar and various other oil terminals.
Valid CPC essential.
ADR essential.
PDP preffered but not essential, training can be provided to right candidate.

Patterson Oil are a family run business with 30+ years in the industry. We are seeking a skilled and reliable ADR Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role involves operating an HGV oil tanker, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the safety of oils onboard throughout the journey. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through dependable service.

Responsibilities
- Operate an HGV oil tanker in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload oils securely via delivery hose.
- Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company procedures.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries.
- Uphold cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Commercial Driver or Delivery Driver is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with lorry operations is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining delivery schedules and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
