Job Summary
Overview
Are you interested in HGV Class 1 Tramper driving in the Manchester area, Would you like to earn a competitive salary and return to your home location after your completed shifts? Then apply today.

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving and delivery operations, particularly those familiar with flatbed transport. The position is fully paid and requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Duties

Shifts Pattern available: Sunday – Thursday,
Full time contract with holiday pay, Free secure parking
As a tramper driver you will be away for 4 nights/ 5 days a week
Night out tax free payment (Not included in the basic pay)
Transport goods from station to station
No loading / unloading expected, we will do that for you!
Reliable and safe driving with careful handling of the vehicles and trailers
Operate flatbed lorries and other HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all road safety laws and company policies
Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met
Secure loads properly using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe transit of goods
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
Maintain communication with the logistics team regarding schedule updates or any issues encountered during transit
Adhere to driving hours regulations and rest periods to ensure compliance with legal requirements

Documents/experience/requirements:

C+E (Class 1) Driving License (required) with less than 6 penalty points
Drivers Card (required)
New Drivers accepted based on T&C's
Right to work in the UK (required)
English Peaking (preferred)
You are enthusiastic about the opportunity for extended trips, spending up to four nights away from home per week (mandatory).
Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or similar specialised transport experience
Knowledge of current road laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial vehicle operation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Ability to work independently, demonstrating responsibility and punctuality
