Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Front of House to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing a variety of beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a passion for hospitality are highly valued. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct payment processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting the team during busy periods.
Manage multiple tasks effectively using strong time management skills to ensure prompt service.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
Uphold a positive attitude and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those eager to learn.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach towards customers and team members.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service, with opportunities to develop skills within a supportive team.

Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour
