Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those committed to delivering high-quality care with excellent communication skills.

Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans
Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff
Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals in care settings
Assist with medication administration as per training and care protocols
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients
Support with light domestic tasks within the care environment
Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments, where applicable
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Basic IT skills for recording information electronically
Good command of English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication
Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members
Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits or outings; however, it is not mandatory for all positions
