Full job description

We have an opportunity for a Selling - Transaction Manager to join our team at our Volkswagen Van Centre in Southampton

As a Selling Transaction Manager, you will support our Group Commercial Sales Manager in leading and developing the sales team, maximising profitability across vehicle sales, finance and insurance, ensuring every customer receives a seamless and professional experience whilst being able to support the overall sales number.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Sales Executive who is ready to take the next step in their career, or for a hands-on Transaction Manager who enjoys selling, developing a team and taking on broader range of management responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
Manage vehicle sales enquiries, diary activity and dealer web management to maximise opportunities.
Drive profitability across new and used vehicle sales, finance, insurance and related products.
Ensure the team has strong knowledge of products, promotions and marketing activity through effective daily communication.
Monitor sales performance, stock levels and departmental processes to support efficiency and budget control.
Review customer experience measures and identify areas for improvement to achieve brand and dealership targets.
Oversee finance and insurance referral processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant customer handover.
Monitor outstanding balances, refunds and vehicle-related administration accurately and efficiently.
Resolve customer concerns calmly and professionally, involving others where appropriate to deliver the right outcome.

What you will need to be a Transaction Manager at our Volkswagen Van Centre:

A Transaction Manager or experienced Sales Executive with proven track record of sales success and some exposure to leading or supporting a sales team.
Automotive industry knowledge and a strong track record of achieving targets.
Excellent organisational, communication and people skills.
Positive, driven and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Good computer skills and a full UK driving licence.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:00; Saturday 08:30 - 17:00 (No Sundays.) This is a 5-day working week, with a set day off during the week
