Front of House Team Member (Part-Time)

Bean & Grape is an independent Café & Wine Bar based in Glengormley, serving quality coffee, artisan wines, brunch, and small plates in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking experienced Front of House Team Members to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with immediate start available. This role is ideal for enthusiastic hospitality professionals who enjoy delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a busy, customer-focused setting.

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will help create memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

· Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.

· Prepare and serve specialty coffees to a consistently high standard.

· Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.

· Serve food and beverages while maintaining excellent customer service.

· Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, specialty coffees, and artisan wines.

· Keep up to date with menu changes, seasonal offerings, and product knowledge.

· Assist with seating guests and managing reservations when required.

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the café, wine bar, and service areas.

· Support bar service, including preparing and serving alcoholic beverages where appropriate.

· Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service.

· Handle customer queries professionally and resolve issues promptly.

· Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements at all times.

Requirements

· Previous front-of-house experience in a café, restaurant, wine bar, or hospitality environment is essential.

· Experience making specialty coffees is desirable.

· Bar experience and knowledge of wine service would be advantageous.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

· Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

· A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
