Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop barista skills within a welcoming environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable experience. The position is suitable for individuals passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a warm atmosphere for customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including giving correct change.
Restock supplies as needed, including cups, lids, condiments, and ingredients.
Provide friendly service to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
Assist in food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous however training will be provided.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
