Cook with Scotland's finest seasonal ingredients in one of Perthshire's most beautiful country house hotels.

Ballathie House Hotel is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen brigade.

Set on the banks of the River Tay, Ballathie House Hotel is a four-star country house hotel with a Two AA Rosette restaurant, renowned for delivering exceptional food and warm Scottish hospitality. Every dish celebrates the best local and seasonal produce, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and consistency.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious chef who wants to develop their skills within a professional brigade committed to culinary excellence.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your own section, ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen is prepared and presented to the highest standard.

Working closely with our Head Chef Scott Scorer, you will:

Take ownership of your section during preparation and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation and consistency.
Support the development of new dishes and seasonal menus.
Assist in training and mentoring junior chefs.
Ensure excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Help minimise waste and maintain effective stock control.

About You

You will:

Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or be an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step.
Be passionate about producing exceptional food.
Thrive in a busy, quality-driven kitchen.
Be organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be a positive team player with a strong work ethic.
Take pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.
