Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiners / Deckbuilders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves fabricating and assembling our Pvc decking system on site, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to safety standards. The Joiners / Deckbuilders will play a crucial role in residential, Holiday and commercial projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. The position is full time on a self employed basis

Duties

Fabricate and assemble Pvc deck kits in the workshop and on site
Use power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Read design drawings to construct on site
Collaborate with other members of staff and work as part of a team
Communicate and update project progress with other members of staff
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised at the end of each day

Skills

Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to joinery.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and joinery principles.
Experience in Decking is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of PVC decking installations are a plus.
Full clean driving licence
Towing licence is a plus but not essential
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
