About the Role

We are looking for a confident, experienced, and professional Recruitment Manager who understands how a recruitment agency should operate. The ideal candidate will have strong recruitment knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage clients, candidates, compliance, adverts, interviews, and recruitment processes from start to finish.

This role is suitable for someone who can work independently, make decisions, bring ideas, and help Talentra grow in the right way.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment process from job advertising to candidate placement.
Create and manage job adverts on Indeed and other recruitment platforms.
Source, screen, interview, and shortlist suitable candidates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and workers.
Understand client requirements and provide suitable staffing solutions.
Manage candidate compliance, right-to-work checks, references, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records using recruitment systems, spreadsheets, ATS, or CRM tools.
Help develop recruitment policies, procedures, and professional working standards.
Support business development by identifying new clients and recruitment opportunities.
Manage temporary staff bookings, availability, attendance, and performance.
Deal professionally with staff issues, client concerns, and urgent recruitment needs.
Ensure recruitment processes follow UK employment law, GDPR, and compliance standards.
Help Talentra build a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in recruitment, staffing, or agency recruitment.
Ideally 5–10 years’ experience in recruitment management or senior recruitment roles.
Experience in warehouse, logistics, industrial, driving, or security recruitment is highly desirable.
Experience using Indeed, CV databases, job boards, ATS, CRM, or recruitment software.
Strong understanding of right-to-work checks, compliance, candidate screening, and client management.
Experience managing temporary workers, shift bookings, or high-volume recruitment is preferred.
Proven ability to attract candidates and fill vacancies quickly and professionally.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable but not essential:

REC qualification or recruitment-related training.
CIPD Level 3 or above.
Business, HR, management, or recruitment-related qualification.
Knowledge of UK employment law and Agency Worker Regulations.
