About The Role

To ensure that all areas within the hotel are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard for the greatest enjoyment of our guests.

To clean and service corridors and public areas of the hotel. Typical tasks include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, dusting, polishing.

To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.

To always maintain the security of the hotel and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with company procedures.

To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.

To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.

Greeting guests and responding to their queries.

To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.

To comply with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.

Any other duties as required by management.

Required Criteria

Right to Work in the United Kingdom
Good communication skills
A professional appearance
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and be a team player
Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service to our guests

Desired Criteria

Previous professional cleaning experience
Educated to Level 2 (GCSE grades A-C) in English and Mathematics
