Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking for experienced and professional Dental Receptionists to join our team. This is a key role in the smooth running of the practice, providing excellent front-of-house service to patients and supporting the wider dental team with day-to-day administration and coordination.

As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for delivering a warm, friendly, and efficient experience, while also playing a vital role in managing reception processes and ensuring high standards across all administrative tasks.

We are looking for 3 receptionists to join our growing team.

Role 1 - Full Time

Monday - Friday - 8:15am-6pm

Role 2 - Part Time

Monday - Wednesday - 8:15am-6pm

Role 3 - Part Time

Thursday-Friday - 8:15am-6pm

Saturday - 8:45am-5pm

Interviews will take place on Thursday 9th July.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients in a welcoming and professional manner
Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and recalls using Dentally software
Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to patient enquiries efficiently
Process payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate patient records
Coordinate daily diaries for dentists, hygienists, and specialists
Liaise with dental nurses, clinicians, and management to ensure smooth practice operations
Monitor stock of reception materials and ensure the front desk area is organised
Uphold GDPR and confidentiality regulations at all times

Requirements

Minimum 1 years of experience in a front facing/receptionist role (dental desirable)
Experience using dental software (desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and data protection protocols
