Full job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Yorkshire's Largest Brick & Reclamation Yard which has demonstrated continuous growth and development. The company sources materials from demolition projects nationwide, reprocesses the material and sell the building materials to trade and public at our busy depot located in Sheffield.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

Greet visitors to the premises.
Advise customers on products.
Prepare orders for collection and load delivery vehicles with forklift truck.
Check in deliveries of stock.
Maintain an accurate record of stock.
Liaise with the office to provide a smooth customer sales process.
Maintain a tidy and organised yard.
Manual Labour
Other duties as required by the business from time to time.

Person Specification

Essential

Willing to carry out physical work, including heavy lifting.
Confident and polite manner.
Attention to detail.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Reliable and punctual.
Willing to work outdoors in all conditions
Ability to be flexible in line with the needs of the business.
Keep up in a busy and fast pace environment.

Preferable

Experience within a builder’s yard or similar environment
Fork truck experience
Full clean driving licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,500.00-£35,100.00 per year
