Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will drive your success in delivering outstanding results on every project. Duties

Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with precision and care
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to complete work efficiently and safely
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to clarify project requirements and update progress regularly
Manage transportation of tools and materials to various job sites using a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly after each project
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups or corrections as needed

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Valid driving license to facilitate transportation between multiple job sites efficiently
Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to painting, decorating, and construction environments
Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and technical instructions accurately
Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working in various environments for extended periods
Reliable work ethic with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
