Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, effective loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. Your keen eye and quick decision-making will ensure the safety of everyone on site while upholding the highest standards of security protocols. Duties

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to prevent theft and unauthorized access
Implement loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and identifying potential theft or vandalism
Respond swiftly to alarms or security breaches, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for record-keeping and reporting purposes
Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring immediate care for minor injuries or medical emergencies
Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while maintaining a professional presence at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques essential for effective monitoring
Ability to perform loss prevention activities with keen attention to detail and situational awareness
Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
Excellent observational skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential risks or threats
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods in various environmental conditions
