Job Title: Coach & PSV Bus Driver
Location: Tideswell, Derbyshire
Company: Andrews of Tideswell
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual positions available

About Us

Andrews of Tideswell is a well-established, family-run coach operator based in the heart of Derbyshire. We provide a range of services including private hire, school transport, day trips, and tours across the UK.

The Role

We are currently seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Coach & PSV Bus Drivers to join our team. The role involves driving a variety of vehicles on scheduled routes, private hires, and tour work while ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate coaches and PSV buses on assigned routes and journeys
Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation of vehicles
Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies
Assist passengers where required, including those with mobility needs

Requirements

Valid UK PCV (Category D) driving licence
Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
Digital tachograph card - for Coach work
Good knowledge of UK road networks (local knowledge desirable)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and occasional evenings for Coach work)
A professional, reliable, and punctual attitude

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous experience in coach or bus driving
Experience with tour or private hire work
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
