Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Sports Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating children at various skill levels.

Hours: 20-22 hours per week in Term Time in Stevenage

Monday to Friday 7:20am-8:50am
Monday to Friday 3:15-6:00pm

Seasonal School Holidays optional hours available Monday to Friday between 7:30am-5:50pm (30-40 hours per week)

Duties

Plan and deliver the sessions
Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly
Carry out different admin tasks - registers & assessment data
Create fun and safe environment for all the children
Building a positive relationship with colleagues and faculty staff
Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake risk assessments

The role is subjected to an enhanced DBS check.

Sporty Scholars is committed to safe practices in recruitment and selection that includes consideration of issues to do with child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS check if they are not already on the DBS Update Service and supply us with references
