Job Summary

5 year project

200£/day M-F, -20%Cis, no other extra costs.

8:00Am -17.30pm- 1h paid brake

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Telehandler Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a telescopic forklift—commonly known as a telehandler—to move, lift, and position materials across various job sites. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient handling of heavy loads, supporting project timelines and maintaining a secure work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while honing your mechanical skills and gaining valuable experience in heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to transport materials around the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times
Load, unload, and position building materials, equipment, and supplies with precision and care
Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler before each shift, checking for mechanical issues or safety hazards
Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries and placements for optimal workflow
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance needs
Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary
Follow all site safety regulations and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

Proven experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy machinery in a construction or industrial setting
Suspended loads. !!
In date medical report
Valid driver’s license with relevant endorsements for operating heavy equipment: CPCS ; NPORS
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Commitment to adhering to safety standards and procedures at all times
