Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Brunch Chef to join our culinary team on weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of brunch dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a vibrant, customer-focused environment, delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a diverse range of brunch menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout service
Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers for ingredient replenishment
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent customer service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy weekend shifts
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy weekend service times
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Passion for creating delicious brunch dishes that delight guests
