Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of mobile devices and related equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for electronics and hardware maintenance. The position involves working on-site, providing hands-on repair services, and ensuring optimal device performance. Candidates should possess a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Diagnose faults in mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and related hardware components.
Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices efficiently.
Conduct repairs on computer hardware, including troubleshooting issues with motherboards, screens, batteries, and other components.
Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify faulty parts and repair procedures.
Perform maintenance tasks on mobile devices and associated equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
Repair computer networking issues related to mobile devices or connected systems.
Test repaired devices thoroughly to confirm proper functionality before returning them to clients or end-users.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service outcomes.
Keep up-to-date with the latest technological developments in mobile hardware and repair techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in electronic or mobile device repair is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various hand tools for delicate repairs.
Familiarity with computer hardware components and repair processes.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
Experience with computer networking concepts relevant to mobile devices is advantageous.
Previous work involving maintenance of electronic equipment or computer systems is desirable.
Knowledge of computer repair procedures and troubleshooting techniques will be highly valued. This role offers an engaging environment for technically inclined individuals eager to develop their skills further within the electronics repair sector. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced settings.

Pay: £70.00-£110.00 per day
