Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic day & night team. In this role, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will work closely with patients, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are looking to grow within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support patients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Help patients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status.
Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed by nursing staff.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a healthcare context is advantageous.
