Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of construction, maintenance, and site preparation tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a supportive environment, contributing to diverse projects across the organisation. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assisting with site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
Supporting tradespeople with their tasks as required
Operating basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently
Preparing work areas by setting up scaffolding, barriers, or other equipment
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Following health and safety protocols at all times
Carrying out general labouring duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials
Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Good physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety procedures
Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
