Full job description

We are recruiting for a Full Time Office Administrator on a Permanent basis.

We are family run caravan refurbishment company established for over 20 years that is continuing to grow based on Bristol Road South close to all major transport links.

The role includes:

Dealing with specific client emails efficiently
General administration tasks
Updating internal databases
Collating data and information to keep accurate records
Dealing with specific client enquiries
Answering telephone calls

We are looking for an experienced office administrator with excellent communication skills verbally and written at our office in Birmingham. Duties to include answering the phone, emails, filing,keeping databases up to date and other assorted tasks when needed. The successful candidate will have to have the skills and drive to work in a fast paced office environment and you should also expect plenty of day to day variation. Strong IT skills using email, google sheets, excel spreadsheets, word, PowerPoint and with ability to adapt to new skills. A positive can do attitude and willingness to learn quickly. The ability to communicate effectively and politely via telephone and face to face with customers, suppliers and the management team . Ability to stay focused under pressure and deal with challenging situations calmly. Must be able to multitask and follow procedures to meet office deadlines in a busy office. Have an eye for attention to detail and accuracy.

As part of the role you will work both within a small team and independently. The ideal candidate will have good organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads and able to work under pressure. An excellent telephone manner and both written and verbal communication skills are key.

Full training will be given to enable you to quickly and efficiently to complete daily responsibilities, whilst maintaining a very high standard of professionalism at all times.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive in identifying and improving systems and procedures. You must have experience of using office based systems such as excel, Word, google drive, google sheets and able to communicate effectively and be comfortable with dealing with people at all levels both inside and outside of the organisation

Previous experience of at least one year would be desirable

Holiday entitlement: 20 Days plus bank holidays
