Full job description

We are seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our team at the newly refurbished and rebranded AC Marriott Birmingham NEC & Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, design-led hotel, delivering a seamless guest experience across reception, bar and restaurant on a casual, zero-hours contract, with a salary of up to £12.71 per hour.

While previous experience in a similar role is welcomed, it is not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is your attitude, professionalism and passion for delivering excellent service.

As a Guest Service Assistant (GSA), you will play a key role in shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure. Often the first point of contact, you will deliver a warm, confident and attentive welcome, setting the tone for a memorable stay.

You will be empowered to respond to guest needs and resolve concerns with care and efficiency, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional service. Our GSAs are at the heart of the hotel operation, seamlessly moving between responsibilities, from hosting at the bar and supporting breakfast service to managing reservations and liaising with our housekeeping and maintenance teams. This role requires a natural ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
