Warehouse Operative – Quality Control & Order Dispatch Focus!

We are now seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in the West Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, ensuring quality, and working in a supportive, environmentally conscious workplace.

Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every item leaving our warehouse meets our quality standards. You will take ownership of stock organisation, quality control, and preparing outgoing orders — helping to maintain the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and check stock quality before items are processed or sent out.
Organise, sort, and label stock into appropriate categories.
Prepare, pack, and dispatch customer or partner orders accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
Track stock levels, record stock movements, and report any discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality targets.
Support general warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous warehouse or stockroom experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and conscientious with a proactive approach.
Ability to handle items of varying sizes and weights safely.
Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.

Desirable:

Experience in quality control or order fulfilment.
Forklift licence or experience with warehouse equipment (preferred but not required).
