EQUANS is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Pendle Vale High School, Oxford Rd, Nelson BB9 8LF . This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times:

Monday- Friday - 5:30am-1:30pm

What will you deliver?

Responsible for the day to day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard. Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement.

For this role you must undergo A DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential

Who are we looking for?

Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
Experience of supervising the work of others
Possess good communication and customer care skills
Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles
Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
