Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Bar/Front of House at our establishment in Lyme Regis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of our venue, providing excellent service to our guests in a lively and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests have a memorable experience, and maintaining the smooth operation of the bar and front-of-house area.

Duties

Greeting and serving customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Taking orders accurately and delivering food and beverages promptly
Preparing and serving drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
Handling cash transactions and operating the till with basic maths skills
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assisting with setting up tables, clearing, and resetting for new guests
Managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service
Supporting team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to serve customers professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
A personable nature with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
Flexibility to work during peak times, including evenings and weekends as required

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
