THEATRES, ANAESTHETICS, CRITICAL CARE, PRE-OP & PAIN DIRECTORATE

Critical Care Ward Clerk - Band 2 ( PERMANENT)

Monday - Friday (afternoon or evening hours only) 12 hours per week.

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly Critical Care clerical team. This role plays an important part in supporting a reliable Monday to Friday clerical service, tailored to meet the needs of the department.

The successful candidate will bring excellent communication skills and a positive approach, delivering an efficient reception, telephone, and administrative service. We are looking for someone with previous clerical experience, strong organisational skills, and confidence using computer systems.

Some of the duties include:
nsure patient notes are available, stored securely and filed in line with Trust guidance.

Track the movement of patient notes using the Trust electronic system, delivering to relevant areas (e.g. iFit ) as required and investigating any missing notes.

Order and maintain adequate stock levels of stationery and administrative supplies.

Communicate effectively with internal and external services regarding patient notes and information required for care delivery.

Manage Friends and Family feedback from parents and carers.

Arrange follow-up appointments and support admissions, transfers and discharges using Trust systems (e.g. OASIS, Sunrise).

Maintain a clean, tidy and organised clerical environment.
