Overview

Honeycroft is a respected childcare setting in Hove with over 45 years of experience dedicated to providing affordable, quality services for children and their families.

As a valued member of the Honeycroft team, you will play an important role as part of our Out of School team to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for primary school aged children during school holiday time in our Holiday Club and term time during After School Club.

Applicants must have:

Experience of working with primary school aged children
Great communication skills
Physically fit to work with energetic children and capable to take part on local walks and outings

The job involves:

Providing consistent care and emotional support by working closely with a team to make every child feel safe, valued, and supported.
Keeping children safe and well, both during sessions at the centre and on off-site activities, by following health and safety procedures and being a vigilant, caring presence.
Helping plan and run fun, engaging activities, and getting hands-on with setting up and preparing the resources that make our sessions special.

At Honeycroft, eligible staff can:

Opportunity to work additional hours during school holidays and option of regular weekly hours during term time in after school club
Receive 4 weeks annual leave pro rata
Paid induction and DBS check
Targeted training opportunities available
Staff social events.

Job Type: Part-time
