Overview

Join our friendly team as a Motor Vehicle Technician/Mot tester and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles . This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with all makes & models , ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for mechanical work, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you!

Duties

Diagnose mechanical, electrical faults and fault finding using snap on/launch diagnostics
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections and fluid replacements, clutches, cambelts, servicing, diagnostics , wet belts etc
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
Knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical and mechanical components
Capable of troubleshooting issues quickly and accurately to minimize downtime.This role offers an engaging environment where your technical expertise makes a real impact.
Work safely and help maintain a clean and organised workplace
Complete work to a high standard
Full uk driving licence essential
Own tools required
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Must have experience working on all makes and models
Mot tester preferred but not essential as future training can be given in due course
Monday to friday 8am until 5pm with an hours lunch
No weekends and shut over christmas period
Recent fully rebuilt building with new 2 post ramps

Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
