Skilled Labourer – Brixter Construction Ltd

Location: Mid Sussex, West Sussex (with travel to surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Brixter Construction Ltd is a growing construction and development company delivering high-quality residential projects across Sussex and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, professionalism, and maintaining a positive team culture.

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our expanding team.

The Role

You will work alongside our site managers and tradespeople on a variety of residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with a good understanding of construction and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Assisting skilled trades on site.
General construction labouring.
Site preparation and maintenance.
Loading and unloading materials.
Keeping sites clean, safe and organised.
Operating hand and power tools safely.
Assisting with deliveries and material movement.
Completing tasks to a high standard.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working in the construction industry.
Full UK driving licence.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of manual work.

Desirable (but not essential)

CSCS Card.
Experience with multiple trades.
Own basic hand tools.
Trailer licence or plant tickets.
