Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our administrative operations within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data entry, processing accounts payable, and utilising various accounting software programmes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional setting, contributing to the smooth running of our organisation. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to gain experience in financial administration and utilise their organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks accurately across multiple platforms, including Workday, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other accounting software.
Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Support financial record keeping by maintaining organised files and documentation.
Utilise QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and reconcile accounts as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting.
Prepare routine administrative reports and summaries for management review.
Provide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures related to financial data handling.

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or similar programmes.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy levels.
Familiarity with Workday and QuickBooks is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in accounts payable or financial administration is preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
