Registered Manager – Therapeutic Children's Home

-DY14
-£50,000 – £55,000 DOE + Bonus Scheme

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our 2-bed therapeutic children's home, supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is an opportunity to build a home where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.

Our approach is rooted in PACE and DDP, placing connection, trust, and emotional safety at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

Lead and manage all aspects of the home's operation, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
Create a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture where children can recover, develop resilience, and flourish
Support children with complex behaviours and needs through consistent, relationship-based care
Develop and lead a resilient, reflective, and high-performing team
Embed PACE and DDP principles throughout practice and culture
Deliver effective supervision, coaching, and performance management
Build strong partnerships with families, education providers, therapists, and external professionals
Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive outcomes for children
Contribute to the future growth of the organisation, including the opportunity for dual registration across two homes

About You

We're looking for a compassionate and ambitious leader who has:

✔ A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

✔ A minimum of 3 years' residential childcare experience, including management experience within an Ofsted-regulated setting

✔ A proven track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

✔ Strong knowledge of trauma, attachment, child development, and therapeutic care

✔ Experience supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs

✔ The ability to lead teams through challenge with confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence

✔ A commitment to reflective practice, relationship-based care, and continuous improvement

✔ A Full UK Driving Licence
