Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to join our award winning team in Islip, Kettering.

We are a positive, forward thinking company who are well established in the local area for the quality of our food and service.

The successful applicant will already have 2 years experience in a busy restaurant/bar/hotel environment and be looking to move to a growing company with lots of scope to progress their career. There will be potential for the right candidate to move up the ladder within our business due to progression plans.

The role is hands on and fast moving so you will need to be organised and efficient in the way you work. You will be expected to work days, evenings and weekends in this role, and the right candidate will also be considered as a key holder to the establishment.

Over 18's only please due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and lead the front of house team to deliver outstanding service
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer enquiries
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless operations
- Train and develop staff on service protocols and customer interactions
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and handle any issues or complaints effectively

Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management
- Knowledge of food preparation, production, and restaurant operations
- Demonstrated ability to uphold high standards of customer service
- Experience in overseeing front of house operations is a plus
