Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Housekeeper to join our team. As a four star hotel we pride ourselves on standards and you will play a key part in maintaining these.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety standards.
Change bed linens, towels, and other household items as required.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
