Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets project specifications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, on residential projects, contributing to the realisation of durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a good understanding of various building techniques.

Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers before plastering
Mixing plaster and other materials to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers
Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with trowels, hawks, and floats
Ensuring smooth, even finishes on both internal and external surfaces according to specifications
Repairing damaged or uneven surfaces prior to plastering work
external silicon render works
Operating power tools such as drills and saws safely and effectively during installation processes
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and hawks for precise plaster application
Knowledge of operating power tools safely within construction environments
Strong masonry skills with an eye for detail in finishing surfaces smoothly

Familiarity with roofing procedures can be advantageous for external work projects
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings and instructions accuratelyThis position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced plasterers eager to contribute their expertise within a professional team dedicated to quality craftsmanship.

Pay: £190.00-£200.00 per day
