Summary

The Governors of Briercliffe Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Briercliffe is a happy and busy Community Primary School currently catering for over 385 children between the ages of four and eleven years.

We are looking for someone who:

will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children, including children with additional needs
is organised
is a team player
has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
has high standards of English and Maths
is able to offer intervention sessions
will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD
is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
is willing to work as a Welfare Assistant over the lunch hour

Essential Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Maths and English GCSE Grade C (or equivalent)

Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
