We’re looking for a Construction Manager who brings strong leadership, technical capability, and a passion for delivering high‑quality work safely and efficiently.

What you will do:

Oversee day‑to‑day site delivery from mobilisation through to handover.
Lead teams through daily briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
Coordinate labour, plant, materials, logistics, and subcontractors.
Support temporary works, QA processes, and design reviews.
Work closely with commercial teams on costs, production rates, and forecasting.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and teams.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience across civil engineering projects with leadership responsibilities.
Certifications: SMSTS, IOSH, CSCS, First Aid, Work at Heights, SHED, Black Hat.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, calm, improvement-focused mindset.

John, Tom and Pat Carey moved to London from Ireland and started a groundworks contracting company in London called PJ Carey Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd.
