Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position involves monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies to deter theft and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms or incidents as they arise.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security and safety protocols are being followed.
Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft and damage to property.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with the police enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed.
Engage with staff and visitors in a professional manner to foster a secure environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or a related field is a must.
Knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
Certification in first aid is an advantage.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents and interact with others.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
