Job Overview>
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Deputy Manager - Food Services to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of dedicated staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety standards, and foster a vibrant hospitality environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate food industry professional eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food service operations, including quick service, casual dining, and catering functions
Lead, train, and develop staff to ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and safety compliance
Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
Oversee food preparation and kitchen management to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling procedures
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and conduct regular staff training on hygiene practices and food handling protocols

Requirements

Proven experience in food service management within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments
Strong background in kitchen management, culinary skills, and food production processes
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and interviewing skills
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry
Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement effective food management strategies
Hospitality management experience in hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational excellence
