Full job description

As a contracted member of our catering team at Pure Coffee Vernon Park, you will take a key role at the heart of our commercial cafes, working with the café management team to provide a high-quality service to our valued customers and clients. You will prepare food and beverages while delivering high quality customer care and professionalism.

This work will predominantly be on weekends on a casual basis between the hours of 8am-6pm.

A successful candidate will need to be adaptable, being able to make and serve high quality barista coffee, prepare hot and cold food whilst providing excellent customer service.

You will also support in the training and development of a group of individuals who have a physical or learning disability (referred to as clients in this job description), ensuring that their individual needs are met and their independence is promoted.

Responsibilities:

You will always deliver a high standard of customer service.
You will prepare and serve food, maintaining quality and presentation at all times.
You will prepare and serve barista coffee and other drinks, maintaining quality and presentation at all times.
You will collaborate and communicate with your colleagues to ensure a smooth service flow.
You will comply with food hygiene regulations, ensuring that all legal paperwork is filled out within the desired timeframe and that the café maintains its 5* food hygiene rating.
You will comply with Allergen legislation, ensuring that the cafes allergen procedures are followed.
You will complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks to ensure that the cafes is kept to a high standard or cleanliness.
You will be required to attend and complete training, including online modules.
You are required to complete daily and weekly banking tasks and paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
You will be required to open and secure the building as a key holder.
You are required to attend staff meetings and contribute to the cafe’s development.
You must comply with the employee dress code at all times.
You will comply with all of Pure Innovations policies and procedures
You will support in the training and support of our clients who will work alongside you on a daily basis.
You will provide feedback on clients progress, help them to achieve their goals and liaise with the cafes support worker to aide their individual progression.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
