Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Office Administrator and Sales Assistant to join our Company, JTS Biker Clothing, a family-owned motorcycle clothing company based in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 3LG). We have just celebrated our 36th Anniversary!

The primary focus of the role will be to process orders from on-line sales; emails; taking calls and serving customers within our store. To also assist in bringing the company's website up to date and maintaining its on-going development with new products

From our shop, we sell a range of motorcycle clothing brands as well as our own brand.
We are passionate about providing high quality clothing and accessories at an excellent price, with customer service being of paramount importance to our business. We are proud to show that this is reflected in our google reviews of over 700 reviews and a rating of 4.9. The role is varied between office and shop and this will help you to get away from the desk.

We have a very active on-line presence of sales through our website, and the role also includes picking and dispatching orders; and any queries relating to these.

The applicant applying for this position should have excellent customer service and communication skills; Be computer proficient, have good writting skills and have some experience in answering customer emails; to have some experience with website maintenance; have a good understanding of clothing and sizing; be mature, honest and hardworking.

The role will involve:

Provide excellent customer service via phone, email and face to face.
Handling a shop till, cash and credit card transactions.
Assisting with maintaining the website which will include posting new items, changing descriptions and uploading pictures.
To have a flexible attitude towards work and undertake any other tasks and duties required
Provide back up and support when necessary

Requirements:

Must have good knowledge and experience of computers and good typing skills.
GCSE English C or equivalent
Ideally some experience with maintaining a website
Minimum 1 years experience in an administrator role
Minimum 1 years experience in customer service
Prefer some experience using a till and handling credit cards / cash
Be a team player, willing to be flexible and adaptable
Trustworthy and enthusiastic

Hours: Full-time position, 5 days a week (40 hours) will include regular weekend work, as we open 6 days a week, usually consisting of 4 or 5 weekdays and one weekend day.

Working hours: from 9.30am - 5.30pm and working alternative Saturdays.

Expected start date: ASAP
