Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private residences and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a clean, welcoming environment for clients. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking flexible or full-time employment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
Assist with laundry, bed-making, and organising spaces as required
Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Occasionally prepare light refreshments or assist with basic cooking tasks as needed for clients
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests politely and professionally

Experience

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is desirable, including hotel or commercial cleaning roles
Experience in domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Skills in cooking or preparing light meals are advantageous but not mandatory
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail
Organised, reliable, and punctual with good time management skills
