Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an experienced Practice Manager to join our highly reputable mixed dental practice, Dental Beauty Welwyn Garden City. This is a great opportunity to lead a dedicated practice team, led by our experienced Partner, Dr. Sripal Kumar.

Dental Beauty Welwyn Garden City is an award-winning practice located in Hertfordshire, offering a wide range of mixed general, cosmetic & aesthetic dentistry. This will be a highly varied position with lots of scope to develop and learn whilst leading a fantastic practice team. You will receive a great deal of support from our head office functions & operational teams from day one in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of your dental practice - with a focus on patient safety at all times
Ensuring the provision of excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in line with company strategy, targets and mission statement
Providing support and direction to the team to enhance performance, skills and knowledge
Plan & driving income targets for the practice, along with ensuring performance in line with profit & loss targets - a commercial focus is key for the role
Monitoring & leading on KPI reviews, P&L calls & supporting clinicians to achieve Private/NHS practice targets
Dealing promptly with any issues when they arise along with the support of our head office functions
Deliver staff training and development, hold 1-1's with all team members, performance managing

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

We are ideally looking for a candidate with 1-2 years prior experience as a Dental Practice Manager, within a private or mixed practice
We may also be open to considering applicants with management experience in other sectors such as healthcare, retail & hospitality
Must be commercially savvy, taking ownership of the practices P&L accounts, understanding areas for development & improvement
Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring all are working in harmony to deliver a fantastic patient experience
Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
Ensuring CQC & other compliance requirements are met at all times
Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service

Highly competitive salary of £40K P/A is on offer for this position
Performance related bonus scheme of up to 20% of salary, based on key performance indicators in the practice
Access to a large PM network within the business, with conferences, monthly meetings & development programmes for our managers
A great deal of support in the role from individuals, quality systems and experienced head office departments such as recruitment, marketing & finance
GDC, Indemnity and CPD costs covered if you're a Qualified Nurse - equivalent to circa £500 per year
Additional annual leave giving you a day off on your birthday
Regular team & company social events, including a company wide Christmas Party, and a leadership conference in Marbella next year
